    How Does Gravity Work?

    Hi Guys!

According to Newton's relatively simple picture. gravity is a force that works between two objects. So if you have the earth and the sun, for example then the Earth feels a force that is exerted by the sun and in turn, the sun feels the same force,

You're right, but the gravity feel by us on earth not only cause by Sun. Simply imagine the moon (of Earth) is near by to the sun but the gravity is lower than earth but Jupiter is far from sun but the gravity is too high there. So it's not only by the distance between the objects. It depends on mass of the objects and more over Gravitational constant also a key factor for it.

This video will explain more about it,

Every object in the universe that has mass experts a gravitational pull,or force ,on other masses .
The size of the pull depends on the masses of the objects .
    In fact,
To leave earths gravitational pull behind,an object must travel 17 miles per sec our planets escape velocity .

Unlike force ,with its dark & light sides, gravity has no duality ,it only attracts never repels. gravity is also the reason why earths spins around the sun
