Question Comparing a kid with another kid! Does it really motivates them?

A common thing that every parents do is comparing their own kids with other kids of their same age. They think that this would motivate their kids and they'll perform much better in future.
But they fail to realize that every kid is special and has unique qualities. In my view comparing makes kids stress full and can create inferiority complex.

Definitely,Comparing kids with the other kids will worsen the situations,It will impact the kids negatively, kids started to feel insecure and their self confidence level will be down which lead to low performance in their studies.Parents should understand that every kids has unique talents in them,As a parent they try to improve their kids unique talents

This is the most bad thing to do for kids. When we are comparing two kids, one kid gets into inferiority complex and the other one gets some head weight. This will lead to a bad future for both of them .. every children should be appreciated for every little positive things they do , but should not be compared.

Yes. Comparing one kid with another is totally wrong. Every kid is differently talented. Parents need to give space and time for the kids to find out their talent. Destroying their own self-esteem is the first thing happens to a child when it is compared with another child. When kids lose their self-esteem it will continue to hide themselves from opportunities. Those children have an inferiority complex later in their life.
    Let's be the change

First we should teach parents about these negativeness that they are causing to their children by comparing them with other kids, then only they will stop doing it.

Comparing is worst thing for the human life, but product comparing is good. we can't live others life, so we don't need to compare others with us.
If we need to improve our skill compare our past and our present, we are the best for comparing our own self not anyone.

Well Said If we really want to improve ourselves we should compare our own past and present selves rather than comparing ourselves with others.
