In my point of view , there is nothing related to intelligence in getting good sleep. A person who can't control his thoughts and keep wandering about things can't get sleep. meditation would help to get better sleep.
Agree restless mind also the reason for sleepless night, As you said meditation will help to relax our mind.
You're not going to master the rest of your life in one day. Don't stress. Master the day. Make this a daily reminder.
