A student who is not eligible to enter medicine or engineering are portrayed as a person who is not worth living in the society!

What kind of mentality is this? There are a lot more to explore and learn in this vast world. There are more and more opportunities out there.
In my POV, if a student fails to enter those faculties even after great efforts and hard works and ends up just getting three passes or entering into some other faculties; yes it's more than enough to survive.
On the other hand, if a student realizes his/her mistakes after the results and try to change themselves it's much better as well.

We all are humans and not god, all of us do mistakes in our life. The society should change their views on judging a person based on their A/L results.

This is a big issue in our society,People have the mindset that only doctors and engineers are talented and they only earning good. This mindset should be changed.

Yes Bhavya. Most of the people are narrow minded and think that all the other jobs are waste. They don't even know the choices we have in SriLanka currently.
Do what is RIGHT, NOT what is EASY!

Yeah most of our parents don't know the wide range of job opportunities we have in our country, they think medicine and engineering are the high salary jobs,
We should make them aware about the job opportunities we have in our current world.
