    Question Less engagement in sports the reason for laziness

    Most of the children today feel lazy without doing any physical activity. They like to play video games, rather than participating in outdoor games.
    When doing sports, it not only improves physical health. It also helps to increase memory power, immunity level, stamina and other sportsmen qualities too.


    Do you think video games are the reason for less engagement of sports activities among children?

    People nowadays are not showing importance to the physical and mental well-being. They don't go out play in the ground which reduces not only their physical fitnes but also their leadership qualities, decision taking qualities and many other things.. sports should be encouraged to youngsters more..

    Sometime this also may be the reason. But also most of the children even don't like to go out for any work but they like to spend their time with various electronic devices. They are not aware of the benefits of the doing sports. Parents also not tend to send their child for sports because of the busy lives of the parents.

    Yes, it should be encouraged among youngsters. Everyone should spend some time for sports activities. Doing any one of the sport will be great. Actually it teaches to handle the failures. Punctuality, not giving up, time management, decision making are skills that we learn while doing sports. I think working places also have to encourage staffs to do any kind of sports.

    True. Nowadays children don't know the value of playing in the grounds is 100x happier and interesting than video games.

    What you said is true Adiza, videos games and smartphones make children do less physical activities that make them physically unfit and they become mentally not stable to accept the failures.
    You're not going to master the rest of your life in one day. Don't stress. Master the day. Make this a daily reminder.
