This is a song most of us were taught in our childhood. A harmless little rhyme song for nursery kids, what could go wrong?

Nowadays every kid is going after the above-said features... The one with fair skin, curly hair and rosy lips is the lovely one according to that. How do you think this would affect a kid's mind, do you think?

This creates a definite beauty standard in every child's mind, and that is the reason why still fairness creams and beauty parlours are still in business. Every kid who doesn't mee the beauty standards feels ugly and is made to look ugly. The society indirectly forces them to think that way!

They lose confidence and self-esteem due to this is my opinion. What do you think?
A true fact. Society have put some standards. More than that there are coorperate companies working behind it. Have you ever observed that Tamil films mostly have only fair ladies as the leading female character. Why don't a dark lady can be a leading character? TV shows are even worst. They make us feel our originality and individuality is not so good, and make us use their products gradually. Not just for girls .. men too undergoe such things.
