Are the today's generation students respecting their teachers?

Once we all had a time, when we presented our favourite teacher with Teacher's day gifts and made sure to celebrate her birthday as a class with the meagre money collection, stood up with a smile to wish them good morning and the list goes on. We had a fear mixed respect for most of the teachers and those memories come in front of our eyes when we think of our school days.

But is this happening nowadays? Are students actually respecting their teachers? As I see it, this generation is going towards "I know everything" attitude and of course they feel like they know a lot more than their teachers except for some exceptional students.

    What's your notion?

Honestly not, nowadays students are not respecting their teachers, current days student teacher relationship are totally change, my mother is teacher in boys school she says there are some students in her class use to left the classroom at the moment their English teacher enter class for her period. And teacher couldn't stop them because those students are so arrogant and aggressive thus the teacher let them leave. this is the respect nowadays students have for their teachers. Sadly our younger generation loosing their morals.
