Guys Did you ever boycott something and Why?

As a society or group of people i did some boycotts specially in universities we often did it like as class boycott but personally i do one thing avoid polythene bags. Because i saw a picture of many deer died in Trincomalee because eating polythene. From the day onward i rarely or mostly avoid use of polythene.

, I think everyone of us should stop using polythene,So that we can keep ourselves and our environment healthy.Didn't you guys get punishments for boycotting from your lectures?
