Do our kids growing up too fast?

There was a time when kids enjoyed being kids.Today, even at the earliest of ages, children are partaking in adult activities with serious consequences.Similar to what we see with alcohol and drugs, The movies,TV,the internet, essentially everywhere a kid turns he or she is bombarded with sexual suggestions.
In fact teen pregnancies increasingly on the rise. The concept of childhood is literally being wiped out.

Are we stealing the innocent of childhood from our children?

Do you have any solutions for this?

Totally agreed. We are. When I was in Gr.7, I was this little girl with my little friends and had fun playing hide and seek in the interval time. Nowadays Gr.7 girls, they behave like they've seen everything in this world. I don't get it.
Childhood is something to be enjoyed. If I get a chance I'd love to go back to my childhood.

Kids these days, they've too many resources and they gain knowledge of things they're not supposed to too early.
The reason for teen pregnancies though is that they lack proper guidance. They think they know everything. But what they don't know is they're absorbing everything the media shows them, not what life teaches them.

this is a big issue that should be discussed. Awareness should given from the family basis about the issue. playing in the field have reduced and digital world have taken up the children mind which leads them to a different world that we as a kid never crossed.

couldn't agree more. The current era children are lost their innocent .It's very sad that they are not the way they have to be.

Yeah , the biggest problem is they believed what they saw in the media without any proper knowledge ,and they are not ready to seek guidance from elders as well.
parents also doing the wrong thing by giving access to so many resources in the young age.

Completely agree with you.parents should spend quality time with their children and make them play in the fields, instead of give them digital devices to play.
