How do ask a favor from someone?

Sometimes we need ask help from someone. but we hesitate to ask that. because We are shy. How can we ask help from someone without being shy? can anyone suggest me some tips?

First find out the reason for your shyness,then try to solve it after you overcomes your shyness, Politely ask the person for help.
