Why are you following other person style?

Nowadays people are following heros and legends styles. Some of the people are there who only follow their own style. why are you following other person style? if you follow that style, what are the benifits will you get from that? Guys share your opinion here.

I heard that when we choose to follow someone as our idol or mentor we automatically adopt their styles and behaviors. I don't know how much this theory is true.
