What are the most essential things for a hostel life?

Hello Friends,

Hostel Life is a unique experience.I would say everyone should experience it.
To survive in hostel we need some unavoidable things.

Can you guys share the most essential things for a hostel life?

Survival gears
A lot of Homemade snacks
A lot of noodles packets
Candles/ charger lights
A bucket full of water for emergency and
Snacks
Snacks
Snacks
For girls: Extra combs, clips, safety pins and bands, coz they get lost or stolen too often.

Hi here,
Most of hostel students haven't good food so I think food is must thing in hostel
Good food facilities .

Very True Wondergirl,Food and water is very essential things,As shana said hostel students should bring home made snacks So that they can keep themselves hungry free and healthy.

Patience is the most importan thing to survive and accept hostel food and facilities.. not facilities whatever they give.. hmmm..

More than the tools one thing every hostelers need is self confidence and willpower!
They must have the potential to fight back homesickness and tolerance to survive with whatever things they have.

Hey Shana you forget about water heater/electric kettle, Something we cannot survive without.
Coffee/Tea ; it's like like a life savior when there is no food to eat

Well said, From my experience i would say patience,self confidence, tolerance and will power are the most important abilities we should have within us to survive the hostel life.As you said homesickness is the big issue every hostelers should fight back.
