What is the important goal everyone should have?

In my point of view happiness is the most important goal everyone should have in their life and should be the center of every decision you make in your life. Because if you are happy it will reflect in your behavior and people around you also feel it that make them happy as well. Happiness makes you feel content in the present moment and fill your heart with gratitude. So everyone should make happiness as their ultimate goal to live a fulfilling life. Do you guys agree with my opinion? If not, what is the important goal everyone should have?
