Why most of the young generation don’t hear the elder’s opinion?

Elders say many good opinions to us but most of the younger generation don't listen or concentrate on what they are saying. Do you concentrate your elders' opinions or don’t concentrate about that? What are the reasons that you don't listen their words?

I always listen and respect my elders words. They have more knowledge and experience than us. So they always say wise things which is good for our life.
