Why social medias reliance on photos leads to anxiety than other

According to researchers, the social network services’ reliance on photos could lead to a child developing mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, and loneliness.
I think the reason is fear that we are not as good as the people around us!!! We start to compare our selves with others. We see ourselves as the flawed, when we’re connecting with people through a screen.

Do you fell same as me? What may be the reason for anxiety in photo reliance social medias like Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat etc?

It's PEER PRESSURE. When a child doesn't own a DSLR but another in his/her friend list uploads an image shot using a DSLR his/her jealousy automatically gets triggered and when this happens repeatedly,the child would feel depressed and would start reacting like he/she doesn't have anything in his/her life.

Comparison not only limited with DSLR, they tend to compare everything they are seeing about others.

DSLR thing is just an example I mentioned but there are also other facts like the dress they wear in the photo or the place where it has been captured.Everything matters.
