Do drunk people really speak the truth?

There's a saying '' A DRUNK MIND SPEAKS A SOBER HEART'' The idea is that when we're drunk we lose our inhibitions and allow ourselves to verbalize our true thoughts and feelings, bringing our true personality traits to light. Sober thoughts turn to drunk thoughts, and drunk thoughts turn to drunk actions!


A great many people believe it rings true. In fact, in Chinese business culture, it is believed so strongly that business partners are all but forced to get drunk together before any major deals take place


Do you really think that people speak from their heart when being drunk, I've seen some people who are really egoistic in real person and never shared their sorrows but once they got drunk and high they cried and shared their feelings!

WHAT DO YOU THINK ON THIS STATEMENT?

Hi,
I have seen that most of the person tend to speak what they really covered to the world and what they had in their mind after they drunk. The reason is when they have alcohol their ability of thinking is getting decrease and what they had in their mind are just working and they tend to speak on that.
But that is not common for all There are some fellows which I have seen consumption of alcohol does not put them down or cause that problem.

It is true that people open up their emotions when they are drunk. But that doesn't mean that they won't lie. They express their hidden emotion bit openly. If they have anger in some one they express. If they love someone they express, of they want to cry they cry . This is my pov

I have seen people talk their heart out when they were drunk but I don't know if they are saying the truth or not.
