How to face for the unwanted jokes of friend

Hi all,

There are some instances friends are cracking jokes over the limit. They may make you sad but you can't say anything directly to your friend. In such instances what can we do?
If we say "Don't make /don't spread that joke" they may blame or angry with us. But that joke really hurt you. What are the steps you are taking if you had to face for such kind of an instance?

These types of jokes in the first place would make us down but it is all upon us, the way we take it all. Whether ist personal or not!

Ya that's what I mean but how to act in such a occassion? How to face those jokes?

I have faced this situation. Even if it's hurts me I just smile and ignore their hurtful jokes and with time you get used to their jokes. I think this is the best way to handle it.
