Do Sri Lankan Universities really improve the programming knowledge of a student?

Hi guys,


As a Sri Lankan undergraduate I have experienced many situations where most of us just memorize the programming codes just for the sake of marks without even knowing what has been taught. More than half of my class does not understand programming but still maintains an average results throughout the course!

At the end of the day what we get is just a degree and no knowledge on programming.:(
