Do we control gadgets or are gadgets controlling us?

Gadgets once which were thought of as watches has advanced rapidly and now gadgets mean everything we carry with ourselves. NAme something electronic randomly and it'll probably be a gadget!
The biggest question is Who is controlling who?
Who feels bad when we are cut off from the internet?
Who goes crazy when their gadgets go out of charge?
Who gets angry for disturbing their screen time?
