What technology might take over the world in the near future?

Google driverless car has been concepted to be controlled by the artificial intelligence that makes good use by the data inputted from the video's and cameras inside the car, plus a sensor on the vehicle’s top roof , and some sort of a radar that could capture and decide the sensors attached to the vehicle.
