'What others think about me!' has how much affected your dreams and choices ???

We are living in a society where we need approval for everything we choose to do. Whether it is a behavior, choice or decision it must be approved overall by our own people and the society we live in. People have different opinions about things. Some of us have the guts to take decisions without giving a damn about others opinion. But still many of us decide by 'what others will think about me if I do this?'. :(

What are the things/opportunities you have lost because of this fear? Can this fear ruin our life goals?

In my early teens I almost didn't do anything that I wished to do because I was so worried about what others thing about me. now I changed this attitude and living my life the way I want to live.
