We are so into social media that nowadays we have no problem sharing our photos publicly.
But sometimes these photos get into the wrong kind of people and the hell starts from then.

If you're only talking about Facebook profile picture, then the answer is YES. They have this option called Picture Guard, which enables protection from misuse. Only existing friends can do things with your profile pic.
Yo can do it by simply clicking near the profile picture, and enable Picture Guard.
