Which are the things we should consider before starting a YouTube channel?

We all know the popularity of YouTube.This Google's property offers top quality content and experience to its users. We can say our world revolves around YouTube tutorials and vlogs, that's one of the main reason I want to start my own YouTube channel on handcraft and cookery. Whenever I watch cookery or handcrafts videos, I imagine myself to do those kinds of tutorial videos. It's one of my dreams. So guys can you tell me which are the things I should consider before I start my YouTube Channel?
