Why we get hurt by simple words?

Sometimes we get hurt by the simple word of others.I don't know why their simple words hurting me.Why their words impact me this much? What kind of relationship I am having with them? Someone explain this to me

It's the absolute truth. This what we human emotionally feel. We don't want to get hurt by anyone but that happens Suddenly. So make our mind to accept it the we can easily face it.

If you are getting hurt by the simple words of the person then you have special bond with that particular person he/she maybe your friend,relative,lover or even a mentor and you get hurt by their words because you have immense love ,respect and value for them.If you feel hurt by their words talk to them how you are feeling then both of you can understand each others point of view.
