Racism is something that is sometimes hidden within people and expose at some point. And on the other hand, it totally doesn't exist. I always wonder what would be the root of being a racist. Does it come from the parents/grandparents? or does people inherit from their leaders?
It is very hard to wipe out the racism from the people of srilanka. The root of racism is the mindset of the people, As the people from all races have gone through the miss-arable experiences The racism is unavoidable. On the other hand the political parties and leaders use it as a weapon to cultivate the votes during the election. When a matured man supporting the opposite race in any condition or situation, he has been given a name 'Traitor' by his people. Even educated people are show their racism in the social medias nowadays. We have to go through a long way to get rid all of these, which is nearly impossible to achieve... (In my opinion)
it's very sad to admit but racism is very much existing in our world. And lot of crimes happening around the world based on racism. If people didn't change their old mindset it's really hard to wipe it out from our society.Quote:
