What are the harsh truths do you prefer to ignore?

Life use to slap some harsh truths on our face that we choose to ignore for our own reasons. Because we enjoy our false beliefs than the bitter truths. for example I use to ignore the truth that the people I love to the moon and back don't even care about me a person with feelings and just use me for their own purposes. I am still ignoring this fact because i love and respect them without any expectations. So guys what are the harsh truths do you prefer to ignore?
