Does Alcohol really eases stress?

I've seen many men drinking alcohol and justifying it as a stress buster.
If the solution for stress is that simple,everyone in this world would lead an extremely happy life, isn't it so?:confused:


I always wanted to hear it from experienced people.Does it really helps getting rid of stress or makes you happy?

There is nothing connected with stress relef fact and alcohol. It gives temporary relife by make forgot everything. From my experience it's just a fun factor with waste of money. More over liquor drinking is injurious to helth then, ultimately it brings new stress. :p

I gues, it does once you get high you will start sharing things off your chest unconsciously so yes it i guess it does relieve you from stress!

As assassin said it will give temporary relief from stress but consuming too much alcohol make us life long patient. So it's better do other stress relief activities like exercising,dancing,listening music and travelling rather than drinking alcohol.
