Practical Knowledge VS Theoretical Knowledge?

Hi Guys!

Knowledge can be categorised into two different types

1) Practical:

Practical knowledge is gained through real life experiences and tasks through doing things handy. Practical knowledge guarantees you to do something which you are able o do instead of simply knowing how to do it!

2) Theory:

Theoretical knowledge teaches the reasoning, techniques and theory of knowledge. It will get to know you things without real life practice but will help you to understand the fundamental concepts and how about something works and its mechanism!

In school all you guys might have learnt something both practically and theoretically. Which do you prefer the most with your own experiences? Share us your thoughts!

I mostly prefer practical knowledge rather than the theoretical knowledge because it gives the chance to interact and involve with the subject. It stay on the mind than the theoretical knowledge actually it is because it gives an experience when we are involving with gaining the knowledge. In theoretical knowledge most probably the learner tends to keep the knowledge just in memorizing.

Hi there!

Totally accept your point, learning something practically gives us good and bad both experiences which stays pinned to our good where as theoretical would vanish some years later.

But I have got a question for do you think that both practical and theoretical knowledge should be equalised?

I always prefer practical knowledge, because in theoretical we become bookworm only but in practical we do the things by our own and learn from our experiences which will stay with us forever. So practical knowledge is better than theoretical knowledge.
