Post Have you ever rejected someone's proposal?

In her life, every girl goes through a phase where there are too many proposals are thrown in her face, from admirers, stalkers, not-so-serious guys, friend-zoned guys and etc. But we also have said NO to a person who you really like as a friend or more for personal reasons and felt like crap for the next week for hurting them.
Have you gone through such experiences? How did you end up avoiding their approach?
If it's some guy looking for time pass, then girls are too familiar with how to avoid them. But what if its a serious guy? One with the personality you like but can't accept because it'll complicate too many things. How would you tell them the news without hurting them much?

If a guy is serious and you want to avoid him for personal reason, you can talk to him about your situation. Actually you will feel bad for hurting him, but it is far better than giving a false hope. He will be hurt by your decision but with time he manages to be okay with the rejection. It is important that your rejection will not make him feel like a looser. You should ensure that your rejection doesn't meant to hurt his self respect or personality, but only because of your situation. If you are not sure, better you convey your rejection as earlier as possible, it can avoid him having further hopes on you.

Seriously? You think you can avoid a guy by explaining the situation? I don't think so. I've seen too many to believe otherwise. Even if it's the most crucial situation, guys keep up the hope of wooing the girl. Be it a personal reason or he's totally friend zoned, guys don't take no for an answer. And that is the end of a good friendship!

Yep, you can't be friends as same as earlier. You will not be able to move as a friend anymore. Maybe you will like to maintain distance from him. Suddenly your friend becomes a stranger after the proposal.

As a girl, we can easily catch boys intention with their way of talk and the way they look at us. Likewise, If I guess a good friend of mine developed a love feeling for me, then with my talks I would make him drop the idea to propose me, so for him, it's a hidden love and for me, I successfully safeguard our beautiful friendship without hurting him.
