Exclamation Alienation: The result of social media in our lives!!!

The objective of social media introduction was to increase the interpersonal communication among people. But I think the process has been reversely happening. The more we are spending time in virtual life, we sacrifice the real life communications. Among the negative impacts of social media on interpersonal relations, the most destructive one is alienation. Social medias contribute to the rewiring of relationships from real world to virtual world which exactly leads to alienation.People often tend to invest less energy in their immediate present. It causes to weakening of social ties, loss of the ability to communicate and engage oneself in that interaction, and social alienation.

You are right, I have seen parents complaining about their children being with a smartphone the whole day without even talking with their own siblings or having food. Once you get into the social media you would actually forget about what's happening around you. I myself have felt it several times and regret on it later.

Hmm true. My parents also worried about me when I sit with my phone whole day without spending tie with them. Now I'm realizing it. We should look into people than gadgets.

The best way to overcome this issue is to schedule time for your social media usage and stick with that timing.Give it a try it will help you to manage the time you're consuming on social media.
You're not going to master the rest of your life in one day. Don't stress. Master the day. Make this a daily reminder.
