As you said this your first bike trip choose a comfortable journey. Don't go for a difficult road trip.

1. Take a lightweight luggage carrier
2. Wear comfortable clothes
3. keep yourself hydrated/ take enough water bottles
4. Take enough amounts of breaks in your journey
5. Keep on track with your roads
6. Be prepared for the weather change
7. Use earplugs to avoid extreme pressure
8. Eat well but avoid heavy foods
9. Finally, keep yourself motivated for the trip.
