Catfished means lure someone into a relationship by pretending/adopting a fictional online persona.
Which is a cheating and illegal criminal act.I can't find out the reasons for this cheap act.


Do you know the reasons why some people catfished others online?

In my POV lonliness is the main reason behind onlinecatfishing.People start to connect with random people just to share their feelings and find a moral support.
Insecurities about their own physical appearance or sexuality may also be a reason. Because most people who are cat fishing hide their real identity and express how they real want to be.

True,loneliness ,insecurities about their physical appearance and sexuality play a vital role for these kind of activities.
