Thread: Kids in boarding schools! Good or Bad?

Sometimes, that happens when their house is far away from their schools as well. But the effect it has on kids is too much to scar their childhood.
How effective is that? Won't those kids feel lonely and suppressed living in a strict environment when they should be enjoying life?

Love and care of family is must for child until a certain age. Sending them to hostels before a certain age will definitely damage them. But I have seen some students who has not been cared well by family and went in wrong paths but hostels have made them better . So if a child got a good family there is no need of hostels.

Some of my friends suffered a lot away from home. When they tell me about their struggles at their boarding place, I started feeling angry towards their parents for putting them in such places.
Even my mother started blackmailing me that if I don't study properly she'll put me and my brother in a hostel... So the word itself is enough to scare me off.
