For me, I have often been judged by my jolly good behaviours as to brand me as immature, when actually they are familiar with my "mature" works. They directly assume that I don't have an in-depth knowledge in anything by my behaviour and often they say after getting to know me for real.

What makes us think so less of someone just by how they behave? Why do we not take an effort to know who they are and just walk away with our assumptions?

Exactly, there are instances where I have done the same and there are instances where my friend said this to me. Most of the time when we start being with new people this happens. We just measure then by looking at their external appearance how they behave and how they talk. But when you start to be with them you may feel that this person is marvellous and sometimes he is more marvellous than the people who were there with you before.
