Question Is competition good for our self improvement ?

In my opinion competition is good. It makes people have a deadline and a goal that is made to complete. Most of the people who have a mind to compete, they make a goal to practice the contest. When they make a goal, They work hard and accomplishes the goal. Then they make a new goal and work again to accomplish it. To say it simply,as they work to accomplish the goal they get smarter and clever by the thing they were learning for the goal. Thus, competition is good.

What do you think is competition is good or bad?

It is better to compete with ourselves. Think about how better I am than yesterday. How better our present work than the previous. That's how I work. I used to compare my works to internationally acclaimed products in my field too.
.so the first competition is world's best man.
    Second is oulselves

Well said , Competitions are like bench marking our self rather comparing our own capacity with others who are absolutely different from ourself interms of lifestyle, energy, skill, knowledge, culture, place, opportunities, etc, etc! I used to benchmark myself with the iconic person in order to understand where i am now and how to plan further to lead beyond or outrank in a different level rather reaching the same position that legend already acclaimed.

Totally agree with you . I use to set a goal for myself and achieve it before my own deadline. This way I try to improve my productivity.
