After diagnosing diabetes people struggle a lot to control their crave over sweets. They crave more than before. Most sweet lovers lose control and start to eat sweets which is not good for them. And some other control their desire for whole life. Please suggest some sweet substitutes for them which is good for diabetes patients?

There are some people who take artificial sweetners as a solution for diabetes, but WHO reports said that these type of sweetners also lead to cancer. So I adive those to maintain control and take fruits or Honey if they wish in very less amount.
