Vantablack is the world's darkest material. It is capable of absorbing 99.96 percent of ultraviolet, visible, and infrared light.
Vantablack isn't really a paint. It's a special coating that is made from extremely tiny carbon nanotubes — each one is about 3,500 times smaller than the diameter of a human hair, and there are about a billion of them on each square centimeter of that portable black hole.
